For better or worse, WWE's ongoing Rusev/Lana/Bobby Lashley love triangle storyline is one of the most talked-about things in wrestling today, with the Raw programme drawing heavy criticism and mockery in equal measure.

One might assume that Rusev, given the way he is being presented in the story, isn't too happy with how things are going, but this isn't the case.

In a new interview with The Sun, 'The Bulgarian Brute' has claimed that not only is he satisfied with the cuckolding segments, but he helped come up with them.

"It's a collaboration," he said when asked about who devised the angle in the first place. "There are adjustments that we make, but that's just life. We're committed to our characters on TV, so we just have to make slight adjustments, but we're professionals and we're coping with it."

Rusev continued, showering the storyline with praise, saying "I think we are in the best storyline currently going on and the best storyline that's been around for years. Some people like it, some people love it, but at the end of the day, it's the hottest storyline going on."

Complete and utter commitment to the bit, then. Perhaps it's time to lay those long-running "Rusev and Lana are unhappy" rumours to rest?
