The Undertaker's 10 Best Non-WrestleMania Matches
6. Vs. Brock Lesnar (No Mercy 2002)
One of the best matches from The Undertaker's oft-maligned biker phase and one of the best HIAC matches in history.
The Hell in a Cell match at No Mercy 2002 is perhaps most famous for featuring one of the nastiest blade jobs in WWE history, as Undertaker's forehead spurted out blood and left his face covered. In fact, both men bled profusely in one of the most brutal Hell in a Cell matches ever; and even Lesnar's manager Paul Heyman ended up wearing the crimson mask after Taker repeatedly pulled him face first into the Cell by his tie!
In the end, this stunner ended when Lesnar counted a tombstone into an F5 and then celebrated atop the Cell in a fantastic visual.
Although Lesnar was on a rapid rise in 2002 - with a win over The Rock at Summerslam to become (at the time) the youngest WWE champion ever, just five months after his WWE debut - it was this match which truly legitimised him and turned him into a top star.
