7. Vs. Mankind - Hell in a Cell

This feud bears special mention. We were going to avoid having renewed feuds on this list, but this one was too significant to ignore or merely lump in with the previous entry. The first time Mankind and Undertaker went to war, it became clear that for the first time in his career, the Dead Man was perhaps more Underdog than Undertaker. This time, however, things were different, as Undertaker was now the dominant one, and nowhere was this more apparent than at the 1998 King of the Ring. Not only was Undertaker largely dominant over his rival, but their Hell in a Cell match led to two of the most memorable moments in WWE history: One when he threw Mankind from the top of the cell through the announce table, and the other when he choke-slammed Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy through the top of the cage to land on a concurrently falling chair in the ring below. The truth of the matter is that this match helped make Mick Foley and turning him into a fan favorite, particularly when he refused to be wheeled away during the match. Mankind became a hardcore hero, but Undertaker's role in this turn cannot be denied.
