The Undertaker's 10 Most Dangerous WWE Matches

1. Vs. Goldberg - Super ShowDown 2019

Kane The Undertaker Inferno Match
WWE

A match that will forever live in infamy (from an event that will do the same), The Undertaker and Goldberg's '20 years in the making' clash at last year's Super ShowDown was 10 years too late. And for that reason alone, it should never have been booked.

To make matters even worse, WWE not only booked the match between two veterans past their prime, they forced them to main event a 'WrestleMania-sized' event in blistering heat and expected them to go for longer than five minutes.

The first four minutes were pretty solid, but after that, things got mighty dangerous. Goldberg's penchant for bashing his head off solid objects resulted in him knocking himself silly, forcing 'Taker to carry him through the match.

But Big Bill just wasn't in it. 'The Icon' released his grip too early during the Tombstone, resulting in his head colliding with the mat... and when it was time for him to do his finisher, he almost dropped 'Taker directly on his head. That's right, if Goldberg's Jackhammer landed a second earlier, 'Taker could've been seriously hurt (or worse). And after another botched Tombstone spot, a noticeably upset Phenom had enough and just called it a day with a Chokeslam.

Booking two aged superstars against one another in that heat was a disaster waiting to happen, and both men are incredibly lucky that it wasn't much, much worse. This wasn't just dangerous... it was downright reckless on WWE's part.
