The Undertaker's 10 Most Dramatic WWE Segments

7. Resurrected By Lightning After Being Buried Alive (In Your House 11, 1996)

And now for a blast from the past. When wrestling fans cast their minds back to the heady days of the 1990's, they can probably think of any number of awesome, larger than life Undertaker moments. This gem, from In Your House 11, took place at the close of the very first Buried Alive match, a contest designed only to finish whenever one competitor was buried six feet under, suffocating to death under a mound of dirt. Oh 90's wrestling! The Undertaker won the match after chokeslamming the deranged Mankind into the open grave, but was soon ambushed by a number of superstars (including The Executioner aka Terry Gordy of the Fabulous Freebirds), who aided Mankind in burying the Deadman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1N1w8qnGaX0 Of course, it's going to take a lot more than that to finish off The Undertaker, so after the lights in the arena flickered, lightning (Taker certainly loves lightning) blasted from the sky and struck the gravesite, resurrecting the Phenom. That familiar purple gloved hand clawed it's way out of the dirt and into the light, meaning fans were then able to leave the arena, safe in the knowledge that their hero wasn't, you know, dead.
