The Undertaker's 10 Most Incredibly Cheesy WWE Moments

10. Ministry Of Darkness

The Undertaker€™s turn to the dark arts in late 1998 was supposed to remake the character into an evil overlord with mystic powers, almost like a religious cult leader. He tried to embalm €œStone Cold€ Steve Austin, crucified him, tried to forcefully marry Stephanie McMahon and brainwashed/indoctrinated wrestlers to join the Ministry of Darkness. While a lot of it was pretty intense at the time, in hindsight, it really comes across as hokey, especially in pro wrestling. A dark lord? A €œhigher power?€ Acolytes? Crucifixions? Hanging the Big Boss Man? While it all might be dark, it€™s something out of a bad B-movie. There€™s good reason why you don€™t see the Ministry referenced or remembered often when WWE looks back to the Attitude Era. It wasn€™t really a high point.
