The Undertaker's 12 Most Likely WrestleMania Opponents
8. Baron Corbin
Baron Corbin likely has a bright future ahead of him in WWE. In an era where smaller wrestlers are becoming the norm, he visually stands out from the crowd, which is something that Vince McMahon has been very fond of in the past. You can imagine that the man will likely be called up this year, so he may be in line for a huge push right out of the gate. And there are very few ways that would get someone noticed more than by battling Undertaker in their first feud. Is Corbin ready for such a role? No, probably not, but if the boss gets desperate, he may force him into the spot anyway. Corbin is getting a big push in NXT, and theres not a lot left for him to do there, except for become champion. Think back to other monsters like Heidenrich, or The Great Khali whose first opponent was Taker. This makes Corbin's insertion in the match more plausible. Even if he lost, his profile would rise immensely. No one would expect a classic Mania match between the two, but Taker out-slugging the rookie for 10-15 minutes before calling it a night should be enough to satisfy the crowd. There are definitely others in NXT who would give Taker a better match than Corbin, like Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and Samoa Joe, but going off what McMahon looks for in his wrestlers, Corbin is most likely to land that coveted spot.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
