The Undertaker's 12 Most Likely WrestleMania Opponents
7. Dean Ambrose
A few years ago, Undertaker lobbied for a match against CM Punk at WrestleMania. He liked the mans style, his respect for the business, and knew he could have a great match with him. Punk is gone now, but someone who has a similar anti-authority attitude on the current roster, along with that same passion for wrestling could make for a compelling opponent. Storyline-wise, it would take a bit of work to get there, but Ambrose vs. Undertaker at Mania may be exactly what both men need at this point in their respective careers. Ambrose could use a heel turn, as his jokey character isnt likely to ever bring him to the next level, and Taker needs a popular and safe opponent who he could toss around a bit and look dominant against in the ring. The promo work between both men could be a lot of fun, with Ambrose getting under Takers skin until he finally goads him into a fight. They could play off the history between the two with The Lunatic Fringe taking credit for putting him out of action a couple years ago with his Shield buddies. A victory against Taker would propel Ambrose to top-heel status, and set up Roman for a strong opponent to feud with throughout the year.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
