The Undertaker's 14 WWE Hell In A Cell Matches Ranked From Worst To Best
8. Vs. Batista - Survivor Series 2007
Hell In A Cell felt like the perfect place for the culmination of The Undertaker and Batista's fantastic rivalry back in 2007, and given the sheer quality of the pair's four previous matches, it's safe to say that expectations were high. Looking back now, that might be the reason that this match wasn't talked about as much as you would have expected it to have been.
What we got here was a very good match that occasionally translated into the brilliance these two were used to delivering together. It was physical, powerful and contained a multitude of set pieces, designed to make us cringe (the Tombstone on the steps was particularly brutal) and both men sported the old crimson mask throughout - something that made for a powerful visual.
In spite of all that, it was still a very good match that didn't quite reach the heights of at least three of the pair's previous battles. Is that a shame? Yes, because we knew they were capable of a Match Of The Year candidate (their WrestleMania bout was named MOTY by many), but it was nevertheless a solid offering from both men that was capped off by a fantastic ending (which saw Edge return and attack 'Taker).
