The Undertaker's 14 WWE Hell In A Cell Matches Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Vs. Randy Orton - Armageddon 2005
Perhaps the most underrated of 'The Deadman's Hell In A Cell encounters, his showdown with Randy Orton inside the structure back at Armageddon 2005 was a fitting end to the pair's nine-month feud.
It was appropriately violent given how much these two men hated each other and it employed psychology similar to the very first Hell In A Cell match (with a vengeful 'Taker stalking a very game Randy Orton throughout much of the match). It also contained some awesome sequences, including Orton putting 'The Deadman' through the table and his reversal of the Tombstone Piledriver.
Even the overbooked ending (which featured Cowboy Bob Orton, a bloody referee and the Urn) didn't detract from the great match, as it paved the way for a fantastic finish.
No, it wasn't their best offering from a wrestling standpoint (their WrestleMania match and a later SmackDown rematch were both exquisite), but they did pull out all the stops to give one of the Ruthless Aggression era's best feuds the ending it deserved. And, you know what? They pulled it off.
