1. World Heavyweight Title Hell In A Cell: Batista Vs. The Undertaker (2007)
The best Undertaker match at Survivor Series was against his familiar foe, Batista. They had a huge rivalry for most of 2007. It wasn't a heel vs. face thing because they were both faces and it was more about respect. Undertaker got the win at WrestleMania 23, then Batista got the win at Cyber Sunday and Undertaker called for a Hell in a Cell match as a way to end their story. There were also two draws along the way as well (Backlash and a cage match on a May episode of Smackdown). The Undertaker always seemed to have good chemistry with Batista and this match was no different, plus it was special since it was inside Hell in a Cell, which has always been built up as The Undertaker's speciality match more than anybody else in WWE. They booked this like a slugfest where they did everything they could to get the win and both guys ended up bleeding. It's one of the last bloodbath matches before WWE went PG in mid-2008. After so many nearfalls for each man (including a Batista Bomb through a table and The Undertaker hitting a Tombstone that Batista kicked out of) it was hard to tell who was going to be the victor, but then Edge got involved in things. Following an Undertaker Tombstone on the steel steps, the ref was counting Batista down when Edge (masquerading as a cameraman) pulled the ref out of the ring and nailed Undertaker in the head with a camera. That was followed by a steel chair against the ring steps for a one man Conchairto. It was a shocking return that led to Edge putting an unconscious Batista on top of Undertaker to win the match. The angle was done to set up Edge vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIV. The purpose of the feud was to make Batista become a bigger star after it was over. Since he left with the World Title, it should be considered a job well done. Sure, it wasn't a clean win in the end, but both guys were able to move on from it and both were better off after it was over. While I would consider this to be The Undertaker's best Survivor Series, it really isn't a classic because of the tainted finish. He doesn't have any classic matches at Survivor Series, but a lot of them are memorable and worth watching again if you are true fan of The Undertaker.
