The Undertaker's 23 WrestleMania Matches - From Worst To Best

18. Jimmy Snuka (WrestleMania VII)

Every wrestler has that one definitive victory that fans can look back on and point to as the moment they were legitimized. While some would consider that moment to be Undertaker's debut at the 1990 Survivor Series, they would be wise to reexamine things, skipping ahead to WrestleMania VII five or so months later. It was there that Undertaker earned his "Phenom" label as he systematically demolished "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka. The match was an incredibly one-sided bout, especially for one featuring a superstar as beloved as Snuka. He was never presented as competitive, nor did he ever really have a chance to beat The Deadman. The future Hall of Famer was dispatched of in the most decisive and undisputed way imaginable, the first victim of a Tombstone on the WrestleMania stage. There was nothing to the match, really as it closely resembled a squash on an episode of Wrestling Challenge. Thus, as effective as it was in getting Undertaker over as a credible threat to any superstar or title he wanted, it cannot realistically rank above any of the matches that follow it.
