The Undertaker's 7 WrestleMania Victims Who Never Recovered
6. Jimmy Snuka - WrestleMania 7
Jimmy Snuka's WrestleMania 7 loss to the Deadman wasn't just the first match of the legendary undefeated streak; it was also the last truly high-profile match of Superfly's career. He left the company after lasting only a few minutes in the 1992 Royal Rumble, going on to play a role in the foundation of Eastern Championship Wrestling (a few years before Paul Heyman got his revolutionary mitts on it). Although his match with 'Taker did spell the beginning of the end for Snuka's illustrious time in wrestling, he was already 49 at the time of WrestleMania 7. His loss was entirely necessary in putting over a fresher star, although nobody could have foreseen the amazing phenomenon kickstarted in the process. Snuka left Eastern Championship Wrestling in 1994 and entered semi-retirement, returning sporadically to the wrestling business in the years since. He most notably appeared in the 2008 Royal Rumble, and took on Chris Jericho in a handicap match at WrestleMania 25 alongside Roddy Piper and Ricky Steamboat.
