Paul Bearer actually jumped from The Undertaker's ship to Mankind's during the mid 90s. Mankind defeated The Undertaker in a singles match at the King of the Ring before the pair met in the first Boiler Room Brawl at SummerSlam. Paul Bearer would turn on Taker and align himself with Foley as this storyline went through the gears. The pair would meet in the first-ever Buried Alive Match where Foley would win thanks to an interference from The Executioner. At Survivor Series, they met in a match where Bearer was locked in a cage dangling around 20 feet above the ring. Two years after their initial rivalry, their infamous Hell in a Cell match took place at king of the Ring '98. It's the match that defined Foley's legacy as the Hardcore Legend we know and love today. The Phenom threw Mankind off the top of the cell and through the Spanish announcer table before chokeslamming Mick through the roof and on to the ring below.
