In spite of the fact that both The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin are two of the greatest of all time and that they have wrestled multiple perfect matches throughout their respective careers, they never quite clicked in the ring the way you would've thought they might. That said, they came ever so close to doing so at SummerSlam 1998.

Meeting in the electric environment of Madison Square Garden, the WWE titans unleashed hell upon each other in a compelling, physical brawl that rarely stopped from start to finish - earning every last bit of that physical exhaustion they both showed by the conclusion.

It was almost as if somebody had lit a fire under them, as they both fought like they were out to prove that, yes, they could deliver a show-stealer - and that leg drop table spot has gone down in history as one of 'The Deadman's most incredible feats of athleticism.

It's a shame that Austin got concussed so early on in the bout, as this started off with the makings of a five-star classic. That being said, even though it fell a little short of that, it was a hard-hitting battle that undoubtedly sent the New York fans home happy - and one that belongs among the greatest main events of the Attitude Era.
