The Undertaker's WWE SummerSlam Matches Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Vs. Mankind - SummerSlam 1996
The best thing about the feud between 'Taker and Mankind was just how physical it got right from the offset. Though essentially an undead zombie, 'The Deadman' was still portrayed as the more logical of the two simply because of how unhinged his new foe was - and that ultimately made the Boiler Room the perfect environment for their SummerSlam altercation.
As most of the action actually took place in the boiler room, there weren't any stunning wrestling moves here (though were we really expecting any?), but the exceptional camerawork made up for that as the invasive close-up shots of both the action and 'Taker's search for Mankind made the whole thing an uncomfortable watch.
With two-by-fours, ladders and a ton of jump-scares, this was a somewhat over-the-top but ridiculously fun brawl that only characters like 'Taker and Mankind could pull off. Furthermore, they sold it all so well as, watching them limp, crawl and drag their way to the ring, you almost feel the fatigue radiating from them.
Capped off by Paul Bearer's shocking betrayal, this was one of those rare occasions were everything just came together as the Boiler Room Brawl ended up enhancing the already-great Undertaker/Mankind saga.
