10. The Amelia Earhart Award For Unexplained Absence: Samoa Joe

As one of the primary components in Seth Rollins' barney with Triple H - and the man who crocked the 'Architect' - Samoa Joe seemed a certainty for WrestleMania involvement just a few months back. Yet he was conspicuously absent from everything over the weekend.

I guess it makes sense. WWE clearly wanted to focusing on settling Rollins and Triple-H's tiff mano-a-mano without muddying the waters with too much external involvement, but it seems a bit strange to have Joe in the build-up and then forget about him completely. It's fairly certain the Samoan destroyer will be entering a feud with Rollins in the immediate aftermath of WrestleMania so its not a terrible snub, but maybe a little hint wouldn't have gone amiss to keep the idea ticking over in fans' minds?

Runner-up: Shinsuke Nakamura

Yes, yes, he headlined the TakeOver show, but there's little question the 'King of Strong Style' should have been kneeing the main roster in the face long before now. Here's hoping his big WrestleMania opportunity hasn't passed him by.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
