The WrestleMania 33 Awards!
8. Most Underwhelming Finish: Bayley Beats Charlotte
The Raw women's fatal-four way was moving along entertainingly enough in a manner typical of its contestants, methodically plotted and featuring many an eye-catching, high-risk spot, and then, after only a dozen minutes, it just sort of... ended. One Savage elbow drop, and it was all over, with little in the way of a dramatic climax.
Perhaps the tension would have been present had the build to the match not been such a farce. Instead, we had a champion retaining to little fanfare, and a PPV record which had already been shattered suffering another blow. Not a terrible match, but not the showpiece spectacle for the women's division it could have been.
Runner-up: Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt
Given the show was about 19 hours in by the time the WWE title was defended, a short match wasn't exactly unwelcome. But as ever, Bray's WrestleMania weekend ended with a whimper - a single RKO and that was enough to end his too-short title reign. Tosh.
