This year has seen a lot of big changes for TNA.

They’ve given us a new championship, some new wrestlers and an even a new president. For the most part, the company has done a pretty good job of delivering a consistently entertaining product. It's not amazing by any means, but it's far from their Crash TV post-Attitude Era years of long ago. You have to give them at least a little credit for some of the positive changes they’ve made.

However, there’s also been a few stumbles this year. The company is still struggling to create their own unique vision that separates them from every other major wrestling promotion. They've also handed out a few misguided pushes, and buried some talent that should have been heavily featured.

Right now we have no idea what 2017 is going to look like for TNA. A change in ownership is very likely, which will hopefully give them a leader who is passionate about the product, and who has a clear vision of where to go. So while this year has shown progress, they're still in an awkward phase that hopefully leads to something good on the other side.

A couple weeks before their biggest show of the year at Bound for Glory, let's take a look back at the 10 biggest mistakes TNA has made so far in 2016.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
