Wes Briscoe Has A Few Things To Get Off His Chest

http://youtu.be/MKTsAHQJpr4 The sound of the Aces & Eights theme music echoes around the arena, but instead of the whole posse, Wes Briscoe enters the ring alone. The man who will go one-on-one with Kurt Angle on Sunday wanted to say a few things before the Olympic Gold Medallist could come out and reveal the VP of the Aces & Eights that he unmasked last week. Immediately it is apparent that Briscoe may need some tuning on the microphone, as he comes out with the fantastic "My father and uncle were one of the greatest wrestlers of all time". Hopefully over time those will not come out with great frequency, or he may let his actual wrestling do the talking. Briscoe stated how he idolised Angle for his wrestling abilty, but after meeting him he realised how worthless Angle truly was. He also taunts Angle over the removal of wrestling from the Olympics and how he will use the former five-time World Champion as a stepping stone to stardom. This brings out Angle to the arena, wearing a Save Wrestling 2020 T-Shirt towards the ring. He talks about how Briscoe would call him every week to get him an opportunity to come to the Impact Zone, and how Briscoe clearly has no respect for the business if he doesn't have any respect for Kurt Angle. Angle then proceeds to race into the ring to enter a fist fight with Briscoe on the mat which they clearly had the intention of making it look as realistic as possible. This fight brings three members of TNA management to the ring, and to the shock of the crowd (but very little to anybody who reads spoiler sheets), D'Lo Brown delivered a low blow to Angle and proceeded to join Briscoe in beating the others down and out of the ring. Brown is revealed as the VP of Aces & Eights, and the final piece of the gang's anonymity disappears before Lockdown.

Devon Vs. Sting

sting steve borden As D'Lo Brown leaves the ring to celebrate with the majority of the Aces & Eights crew, the Television Champion and leader Devon makes his way to the ring set for action with the captain of Team TNA at Lockdown, The Icon Sting, in the first of a series of matches to determine the man advantage for Lethal Lockdown. As Sting climbs the rope to pose for the crowd, Devon attempts to get a cheap shot in, but the wily veteran connected with a flying elbow to the face to nullify that threat. This advantage for Sting was shortlived, as Devon was able to hit a massive spear to the Hall of Famer to send him to the mat. The gang leader was able to take plenty of shots on Sting on the corner and on the floor, and any time Sting attempted to recover he would take a shortcut to counter immediately and utilise high-impact moves. However, when Devon takes a risk with an attempted headbutt from the top rope, Sting is able to roll out of the way. This gives the Stinger the momentum of the match, as he sends Devon to the outside and bounce his bald head upon any stationary object he can find. That was before a member of the audience grabbed Sting by the shirt and threw his drink in the war-painted face of the Icon. This is followed by Devon busting his opponent open off of the ring post, and after a massive boot to the face the Aces & Eights get the first point in the Best of Three Series tonight. WINNER: Devon
