TNA’s 2024 Return: 10 Things That MUST Happen

3. Announce A Few Buzz-Worthy Signings

TNA IMPACT CM Punk AJ Styles

Wrestling is all about creating that buzz and trying to turn it into sustained viewership, pay-per-view buys or ticket sales. There are several free agents on the market who'd be available to come in and help TNA relaunch in style in the short-term, and it'd be wise for D'Amore to explore that option.

Nick Nemeth/Dolph Ziggler is the kind of ex-WWE star who'd be ideally placed to come in, make a splash and help several homegrown stars reach the next level. He'd likely relish the challenge of working with some on the TNA roster, and could have several banging matches in 2024.

Kurt Angle as a temp GM would get some eyeballs too. The Olympian speaks highly of IMPACT on his podcast, so he may well be willing to cut a deal. Then, there are lightning rod signings like Will Ospreay (unlikely with WWE and AEW interest, but would be huge), and...one CM Punk.

Is he in that last chance saloon? Yes. Would he be a high profile get? No doubt.
