BROTHER RAY - TNA, 2005 - 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czxfwJXUhwU After trying and failing to sue WWE over their names D-Von and Bubba made their debut for TNA Wrestling under the names Brother Ray and Brother D-Von AKA Team 3D. Although the former Dudley Boyz made a massive impact in TNA it was clear that post-WWE they were not trying perhaps as hard as they once had. D-Von piled on muscle mass while LaMonaco put on tons of weight. To those of us looking on from the outside it appeared like TNA didn't really know how to utilise Team 3D frequently switching them from babyface to heel roles, although some of their work as arrogant heels with "we're better than this" attitudes was a fine setup for LaMonaco's later role as Bully Ray. It wasn't until 3D's series of matches with Beer Money Inc that they really made their mark in TNA and showed the world why they were deserving of the title 'Best in the World'. Team 3D would continue to play tweener roles for most of the remainder of their time as a team battling the likes of The Nasty Boys (a waisted opportunity here) and The Motor City Machine Guns, amassing another 3 tag team titles as well as a successful run as IWGP tag team champions. In 2010 after a fantastic match with then champs The Motor City Machine Guns Brother Ray snapped and turned on his half brother. His days as a tag team wrestler were over and The Bully was born.
