Rob Van Dam Vs. James Storm

http://youtu.be/p6GLMgNntO0 This fantastic night of pure wrestling action carries on with a match between the X-Division Champion RVD and the Cowboy James Storm with World Championship implications. Both men come out to a great reception, and they are immediately thrust into some back-and-forth action. RVD is very quick to bear the brunt of the offense, by connecting with plenty of kicks, a monkey flip and a dash of Rolling Thunder. After the split-legged moonsault RVD gets another near-fall, but soon RVD is on the floor following a strong DDT from the Cowboy. Neither man takes a complete advantage for very long, as the crowd appears split down the middle for both men. Catching RVD in the corner, Storm connects with a move that bears resemblance to Hardcore Holly's Alabama Slam, and gets another near-fall for the match. Both superstars dodge and reverse some high-impact attempts, before Storm connects with the double-knees to the chest, which would be the set-up for the Last Call Superkick. But RVD gets another reversal into the match, and after knocking Storm on his back, he immediately climbs to the top-rope with the Frog Splash on his mind. RVD is too slow, and Storm knocks him onto the apron. But yet another change in momentum sees Storm sitting in the corner, giving RVD the opportunity to go Coast-to-Coast. Storm moves at the last second, which leaves RVD writhing in agony on the ground. With both slowly getting to their feet, one Last Call Superkick later and Storm takes an impressive victory that should definitely resonate in the back of Hogan's mind. WINNER: JAMES STORM
