TNA: Why The New Main Event Mafia Has Already FAILED
TNA has dropped the ball so many times, I've lost count. The New Main Event Mafia had potential to be SPECIAL. That chance is now gone. For starters, signing Rampage Jackson wasn't necessarily a mistake as it appears that Bellator seems to be picking up most of the tab. TNA even did a great job of introducing him and having him face off with Kurt Angle. They were on the right track. If you're going to have a MMA non wrestler feud with someone, there's no one better than Kurt Angle. He can make anyone look good. There WAS money there. Then TNA completely blew it. Having Rampage help Kurt Angle fight off The Aces and Eights was a HUGE mistake. They just flushed 3-6 months worth of money down the drain. People would've payed to see Angle vs Rampage. Now, not so much. Enter M.E.M. The M.E.M. started off well, bringing back former members Sting, Angle and Samoa Joe. Then it took a turn. The M.E.M. was supposed to be a group that consisted of ONLY former World Champions. Well, Magnus isn't a former anything. I do however understand why Dixie wanted him as part of the faction. He has the most to gain from the rub that the other guys will give him and it gives him instant credibility Magnus has potential to be a STAR. So I'm OK with it. What I'm not ok with is the newest member of the M.E.M. Click "next" below for part 2...
