TNA's 10 Worst WWE Castoffs

9. Orlando Jordan

Orlando Jordan Who in TNA thought it was a good idea for Orlando Jordan, a mediocre WWE mid-carder, to defeat Samoa Joe in his first match? How did this person then keep their job? We may never know these answers, but we do know that Orlando Jordan's run in TNA was used for quite a bit of offensive and tasteless television that was sure to have embarassed more wrestling fans than brought in new ones. Jordan is bisexual in real life, which on a more progressive and accepting industry would either be ignored completely, since it doesn't matter what a wrestler's sexual orientation is, or perhaps even used to create some interesting storylines. TNA instead went for shock and exploitation. Basically, Jordan was a bad guy only because he was bisexual! He had his sights set on the ridiculously Rob Terry, and hosted a talk show where he would descend from the ceiling in very little clothing. After that, Jordan turned face, teamed up with Eric Young and took part in a sort of gay panic tag team. He'd make his opponents uncomfortable and he'd constantly hit on his partner who was none the wiser. It was like Rico and Charlie Haas in WWE in 2004, but was even more behind-the-times and offensive than ever!

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
