TNA's 10 Worst WWE Castoffs

8. Chavo Guerrero

Some wrestlers are able to overcome poor booking in WWE, and actually turn into better characters in TNA like Christian Cage and The Pope. Not often, but it happened. It made sense to bring those guys in due to their name value or potential. They were still young and hungry. Chavo Guerrero was a guy that was not able to overcome his atrocious WWE booking, and perhaps TNA signing him wasn€™t one of their best decisions. As we last saw Chavo in WWE, he was involved in one of the worst wrestling feuds in the history of the world. Every week he would battle Hornswoggle, and ultimately lose in an embarrassing fashion. This went on for months! Then, TNA signed Eddie Guerrero€™s nephew, and his first night in he claimed the fans call him a legend. It€™s hard to recall anyone ever saying that. He then joined up with Hernandez and quickly captured the tag titles from the more entertaining and talented team of Bad Influence. It sent a bad message to viewers: no matter how poorly WWE booked you, you are immediately better than TNA€™s best. As you can tell, it was kind of a recurring theme over the years.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
