With John Cena's 2013 Royal Rumble match victory and Rock's WWE title retention at Elimination Chamber, his next opponent for the gold was set, and the rivals would collide one final time on the grandest stage of 'em all to settle their rivalry for good. The video packages were superb, the promos were great and the match itself delivered the goods. Cena got his win back after losing the previous year, and for all intents and purposes Rock essentially passed the torch to him, doing the honours and culminating what had been WWE's biggest rivalry for a long, long time. Many argued that torch wasn't Rock's to pass; after all, Cena was already the top guy before Dwayne Johnson returned to the company in 2011. But he still did the honours regardless, closing out the show by raising Cena's hand in victory. At the time of writing this was Rock's last match, and despite rumours of a possible battle with Brock Lesnar the following year, that wasn't forthcoming. Fast forward to 2016 and we wait with bated breath to see if the Brahma Bull will ever lace the boots up for one more round.
