Top Free Agent In Talks With AEW

One of the most skilled wrestlers on the planet has held talks over potentially becoming #AllElite.

Jonathan Gresham
ROH

One of the top free agents left in professional wrestling has reportedly been in talks with All Elite Wrestling and Ring Of Honor owner Tony Khan.

Fightful Select report that assets have been produced for Gresham to potentially work for Khan's growing umbrella of promotions, which has included AEW since its 2019 formation and ROH following an early-March buyout of the cult indie group.

There's currently no word on which brand Gresham would end up working for should he strike a deal with Khan, however. That the technician currently reigns as ROH World Champion means it's safe to assume he'd work at least a few more ROH dates, he could feasibly end up working that imprint exclusively, AEW exclusively, or a combination of both.

Gresham has been backstage at a number of AEW Dynamite tapings recently, with the latest. being the 23 February show in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Khan revealed in his post-Revolution 2022 media scrum that he intended on keeping ROH's wrestling operations going. The promotion returns with its annual Supercard of Honor show on 1 April.

Gresham, 33, is widely regarded as one of the most skilled in-ring talents in the world. He has reigned as ROH World Champion since defeating Jay Lethal at Final Battle on 11 December 2021.
