Triple H: Face Or Heel?

3. Moments

Face: It's likely apparent by now that Triple H's biggest babyface moments fell flat.

Fan support for him fell off a nearby cliff shortly after that thunderous MSG return in 2002, largely because the follow-up feud with Chris Jericho revolved more around Hunter and Stephanie McMahon than it did the Undisputed Title. That hasty loss of momentum sums up his face runs.

Heel: Where to start? Trips has had memorable heel moments with almost everyone he's feuded with. He back-dropped Mick Foley through HIAC, was a sturdy base for HBK's comeback run, turned his back on Evolution prodigy Randy Orton, revealed himself as Steve Austin's attacker and more.

It's easier to cherry-pick individual moments when thinking of Hunter as a hated heel.

Winner: Heel, obviously.
