4. Triple H & Steve Austin vs. Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho - WWE Raw May 21, 2001
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJb9sC4I2J8 Admittedly, this match is most memorable because of the astounding pain which Triple H was able to work through in finishing the match. This was the famous bout on RAW IS WAR where Hunter tore his quad, yet somehow managed to continue wrestling and conclude the match, even suffering through a Walls Of Jericho on the announce table. There aren't too many men in the WWE, much less the world, who could work through this kind of very real pain. After turning heel at WrestleMania X-7, Steve Austin went on to make an alliance with Triple H that was called the "Two Man Power Trip." The two held the WWE Tag Team Titles together and were defending them in this match, live on RAW, against the Canadian alliance of Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho. Towards the end of the match, Triple H ran into the ring to make the save while Austin was in the Walls Of Jericho. As Triple H lunged at Jericho, he planted his leg, and it was at that moment that his quadricep completely tore just above his knee. Triple H would undergo major surgery and not return to the WWE until January 2002. Just before his return, where he received a thunderous ovation at Madison Square Garden, the WWE released one of the best music videos they have ever made: the desire video covering Triple H's recovery from this career threatening injury.
