9. European Championship Match: Triple H Vs. Owen Hart (WrestleMania XIV)
The rivalry between Triple H and Owen Hart was steeped in intense hatred. Nicknamed "The Black Hart" due the emotional state he had fallen into in the wake of the Montreal Screwjob and the treatment of his family by Vince McMahon, Shawn Michaels and Triple H, Owen had vowed revenge. If that meant he had to relieve the Greenwich snob of his European Championship in the process, that would be the proverbial cherry on top. To do it at WrestleMania would be the best possible way to stick it to the boss and D-Generation X. With Chyna handcuffed to Commissioner Slaughter at ringside, it certainly looked like the table had been set for a triumphant Hart victory. Few could have expected the European Champion, fresh off a knee injury, to control the pace of the match, nor would they have foreseen the events surrounding the finish of the bout. Just as Hart was on the verge of victory, making up for the heartbreak that encompassed his family and its legacy in WWE, Chyna pulled a baggy of powder from her top and used it blind Slaughter. From there, she hopped ontp the ring apron and delivered a low blow to the challenger while Triple H distracted the official. A Pedigree and a three count later and Owen's night ended on a sour note, his quest for vengeance unfulfilled.
