Trying To Make Sense Of WWE’s BIZARRE Booking Right Now

Well, you see, the characters aren’t consistently strong. They lose quite often because it allows WWE to script those who defeat them into title match scenarios, instead of paving any sort of meaningful road to them. It’s a bit profoundly bullsh*t, but the actual wrestlers are really talented, so it’s accepted by those not giving up in their droves.
But the Viking Raiders defeated the RAW Tag Team Champions. What happened to that match?
Forget about the f*cking Viking Raiders, OK? Shut the f*ck up about the Viking Raiders. Vince has forgotten about them. Who else do you like?
That Ricochet guy really is something. He’s spectacular. Why did he lose to the guy in the moustache?
The guy in the moustache is Robert Roode. Many fans have longed to see him take on a villainous role, at which he excels.
So where’s he gone?
Vince McMahon wasn’t one of those fans.
But Vince McMahon must have written that match? He’s the writer?
There are 37. But yes. He’s the writer. The one writer.
It’s here that the informed fan suffers a migraine, as if training some thick new starter at an ancient, complex and no longer fit for purpose computer operating system—the f*cked-up quirks of which are the source of much consternation and what-can-you-do mirth.
Yes, but he also “booked” the second match, in which Ricochet got his win back.
So it’s like a trilogy?
Well, no. Not really. Vince has lost interest now.
I think I’m losing interest now, too.
Funny how that works.
