The battle between middleweight monsters, Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa, has been a fight fans have been pondering about for a long time. Both men have been standouts in the division, delivering action and finishes in the vast majority of their bouts

Other than current UFC middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker, no other fighter in the division has been able to to beat Romero since he was signed by the promotion. He's proven time and time again that his wrestling is outstanding, utilising it mostly to defend against his opponent's takedown attempts. This helps him keep the fight standing so he can land his devastating punches and knees, which have helped him knockout the likes of Luke Rockhold, Chris Weidman and many more middleweights

However, he won't need to worry about being taken down by Costa, who only wants to flatline Romero with one of his own punches. The Brazilian has had a blistering start to his UFC career, knocking out all four of his opponents inside the promotion. Although his finishes are primarily due to his hands, the 28-year old does exceptionally well at mixing up his strikes to keep his opponent wondering what he's going to throw next.

Although Costa has looked brilliant inside the UFC, he hasn't fought in over a year and he's never fought anyone on the level of Romero. If anyone has the experience and skillset to knockout the undefeated Brazilian, it's going to be the Soldier of God.
