3. Aleksei Oleinik Vs. Maurice Greene
If there's one word to describe Aleksei Oleinik's fight style, it would be unorthodox. That's not a veiled criticism either, it's just that he somehow manages to beat people in MMA with things that don't have a high success rate.
You'd imagine that someone with 45 submission wins in their career would have an abundance of the the typical grappling finishes, but Oleinik is beating people with modified ezekiel chokes and scarf holds. It's incredibly rare to see those type of finishes in MMA, yet he somehow manages to do it against solid opponents too.
Luckily for him, his opponent, Maurice Greene, also fancies himself as a bit of a grappler too. While he certainly doesn't have the sambo credentials as his opponent, Greene has shown that he's capable of setting up and finishing submissions when given the opportunity.
If this fight stays on the feet, it probably won't be that entertaining. However, if one of them manages to get the fight to the floor, then Oleinik will have be at a far bigger advantage.
