Fightful Select has posted an update on the current status of tag-team partners Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Specifically, the site is trying to find out exactly when the duo will pop back up on WWE television - they've been rumoured to sign for a while, but Cass/Big Bill still has a little time left on his current AEW deal.

It's believed that his contract with Tony Khan's company runs out "around the end of May or early June", and Fightful hasn't heard of any changes on that front. So, in less than a month, Bill would be free to talk turkey with Triple H about coming back into WWE's mix for the first time since his bitter departure in May 2018.

Meanwhile, his promo-loving pal Enzo was released earlier than year amidst a grim sexual assault allegation. Officers later closed the investigation due to insufficient evidence, but Amore's wrestling career (certainly at the top level in WWE) was in tatters and has never really recovered since.

Redemption could be in the works for both men in 2026.

Fightful pointed out that various independent promoters have been told that Enzo "was not taking bookings in the future that he regularly would be taking". It's likely he's closed off his bookings because a WWE comeback is on the table.

Enzo and Cass would help the ailing tag divisions on Raw and SmackDown. On the whole, Triple H hasn't exactly done a sparkling job on the doubles front since taking over, so having some fresh returning faces with unfinished business could provide a spark.
