4. Alex Oliveira Vs. Peter Sobotta - Welterweight
One under appreciated athlete on UFC's roster is Alex Oliveira. The Brazilian mixed martial artist has a tendency to put on some of the most entertaining fights on each card he features on. In an exciting bout on paper, "Cowboy" will square up against the Polish-born German welterweight Peter Sobotta, on the main card of Fight Island's final event.
The 32-year-old Oliveira is coming into the fight with a 20-8-1 record, including 12 KO/TKO victories and four submission wins. The Brazilian will be fighting for the first time since a split decision win against Max Griffin at UFC 248 earlier this year. In contrast, Sobotta arrives in the heat of Yas Island after a loss, albeit to title contender Leon Edwards. Having once achieved five consecutive victories by Rear-Naked Choke and multiple KO/TKO wins, Sobotta is certainly a capable opponent and provides an intriguing stylistic matchup to the well-tested Oliveira.
Despite perhaps being the least spoken about fight on this list, Oliveira and Sobotta are two entertaining fighters and will both be looking for a finish in Abu Dhabi. Do not miss this one...
