Ultimate Warrior: 5 Things To Forget And 5 Things To Remember

1. Hall Of Fame And Final Appearance

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xR08M6EUd0g In 2014, the Ultimate Warrior took his rightful place among the greatest sports-entertainers of all-time when he was inducted into WWE's prestigious Hall of Fame. His speech at the ceremony was one of the night's best. He touched on his career, spoke about his love and dedication to the business and got in a few digs at the company for the "Self Destruction" DVD that had been released nearly a decade earlier. He spoke on being blown up so much throughout his career but still managing to go through with the match. Warrior even paid tribute to Jimmy Miranda, a former backstage employee who was instrumental in merchandising the Superstars. The most emotional part of his speech came in its opening seconds. Looking down at the front row, he spotted his daughters Indiana and Mattigan, his wife Dana and his mother. He said his greatest accomplishment was being a great father to his two girls, expressed his love for his wife and thanked his mother for always being there for him. It was a touching moment and a look at the man behind the face paint. Warrior's appearance at WrestleMania marked a return to the event he played a key role in for so many years. His promo on Raw was, unbeknownst to anyone at the time, a fitting goodbye.
