Ultimate Warrior: Always Believe DVD Review - 5 Things That Ruled And 5 That Sucked
4. Too Short
Ultimate Warrior's matches were routinely very, very short. He had some long ones, sure, but the average length of a Warrior match must be somewhere around the ninety second mark. This was because most of the time Warrior couldn't last much longer. He would usually be gassed by the time his pulsating entrance was over. Regrettably, Always Believe is a little too short. It feels rushed. Warrior was a fascinating man who had a fascinating career. He was not only a top star, but also somebody who had a lot of real-life feuds with various wrestlers. It's a career and life that really could have used two hours to do justice to. Always Believe clocks in at just over ninety minutes. Some parts of Warrior's life and career are either skimmed past or ignored completely. Where was the section on Warrior University? Or Warrior's controversial speeches when he entered retirement? The fact that we go from Warrior entering the business to the furore surrounding the Self-Destruction DVD in forty five minutes is bad. As nice as they are, some of the backstage sections of Warrior at the Hall of Fame or visiting WWE headquarters could have been cut.
