After losing the WWE Title to Sgt. Slaughter at the 1991 edition of the Royal Rumble, the Warrior embarked on several feuds throughout 1991. His feud with the Undertaker was probably the most memorable program during that time period. The feud began when Warrior, while appearing on Paul Bearer's Funeral Parlor television segment, was locked in a casket. After a long struggle, the WWE staff finally opened the casket and revealed an unconscious Ultimate Warrior. This led to Jake Roberts, while appearing on the Funeral Parlor, making an offer to teach Warrior the ways of the dark side in preparation for a match with the Undertaker. Roberts would give Warrior three tests as part of his match preparation in order to help Warrior understand his opponent, the Undertaker, better. The first test involved locking Warrior in a casket again. The second test was for the Warrior to survive being buried alive in a cemetery. The third test was for the Warrior to find a coffin in a room full of snakes. The coffin, according to Jake, contained Lucifer who would give the Warrior his final answer to "the question." At the conclusion of test three, while opening the coffin, Warrior found a spitting cobra that bit him in the face. As the Warrior struggled to stay conscious, the Undertaker and Paul Bearer joined Roberts on the set. At this point, Jake uttered the phrase, "I'm a snake. Never trust a snake." A new feud between Warrior, Undertaker, and now Jake Roberts was on....or was it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa_u5OYB_rc Though they wrestled many times on house shows, a high profile match between Warrior and the Undertaker as a result of these segments never happened. Warrior was out of the WWE soon there after due to a contract dispute. Though the blowoff match never happened, the segments themselves were so memorable that the feud deserves a spot on the list.
