The Undertaker: 10 Great WWE Moments You Completely Forgot About
8. Destroying The Ring After Kurt Angle's Victory
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dyasfhvZX8 It was at the 2006 Royal Rumble when Kurt Angle successfully defended his World Championship against Mark Henry that WWE fans were given a real surprise. It was just after Angle won the bout that the familiar funeral bell rang and the lights went out. The crowd knew that could only mean one thing; The Phenom was back. The Undertaker had not been seen on WWE programming for over a month and his reentry back to the company was a very epic moment indeed. His arrival on a black chariot, the flames, these were trademark Undertaker. Fans had been entertained by The Deadman's theatrics for a long time and his statement to Kurt Angle was one that was very well received as well as expected among fans. But what was not expected were the lightning bolts that came firing down, slamming into the ringposts. The impact seemingly caused the ring to collapse with Kurt Angle in it. It was just another great example of The Undertaker's character coming to life and it added to his mystique as many other moments had before it. No one commands a room like The Undertaker and this night was no exception.
