The Undertaker: 10 Landmark Firsts In His WWE Career

9. Debut Of Paul Bearer As His Manager - February 1991

The Paul Bearer character didn't start with Undertaker. The first manager that Undertaker had was actually Brother Love while Ted Dibiase was credited as the guy that brought Undertaker to WWE. However, it's Bearer that really helped Undertaker become the great character that he has been. Bearer debuted in WWE in February of 1991 when Brother Love brought him in as the manager of Undertaker. From the first time they were together it fit. When people thought of Bearer they thought of Undertaker and we'll never forget the famous "oh yes" yell that Bearer would do all the time. Last month I wrote that Undertaker and Bearer are the best wrestler/manager combo ever. It may come off as a bold statement, but I believe it to be true. There's no pair in WWE history that was together as long as them, that accomplished as much as them and that looked like they really did belong together as a wrestler with his manager. It was a well booked relationship whether they were on the same side or against each other.
