The Undertaker: 7 Candidates For His Retirement Match

2. Brock Lesnar

It makes a lot of sense to do a rematch against Lesnar because if Undertaker got his win back it would be a great way to end his career the right way with a victory. After all, if Paul Heyman is going to go on every WWE show and talk about how Lesnar beat Undertaker then the one person that should show up to shut Lesnar up is Undertaker. There might be other plans for Lesnar with guys like Daniel Bryan or Cesaro, but another Undertaker match would work too. Why the match doesn't make sense is that Undertaker had a serious concussion the last time he faced Lesnar at WrestleMania 30. It wasn't due to something that Lesnar did on purpose, but due to Lesnar's physical style there was concern about the match going into it. There were reports that Undertaker was hesitant to work with him for those reasons even though they are friends. Lesnar is one of the strongest guys in wrestling history. Injuries are a part of the business, especially for Undertaker at this point in his career. A concern with doing Undertaker/Lesnar again is that their match at WrestleMania 30 was below average. It might not be a smart move to repeat a match that wasn't good the first time around. Then again, they might want to improve on it so giving it another shot is a possibility too. Undertaker getting his win back over Lesnar and then retiring the next day would be a fitting end to his career.
