The Undertaker's 10 Best Matches (Not At WrestleMania)

8. The Undertaker vs. Bret Hart (WWE Championship Match) One Night Only 97

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8jl4x_wwf-bret-hart-vs-the-undertaker-199_sport This isn't their most famous match. That one would be SummerSlam 1997, which was two months before this. One Night Only was a UK PPV that was later sold on VHS in North America and Bret Hart also put it on his first WWE DVD from 2005. The SummerSlam match had a memorable finish with Shawn Michaels accidentally costing Undertaker the WWE Title. Both matches went around 30 minutes, but this one was structured better. It was more of a back and forth match where you really didn't know who was going to emerge the winner. The biggest gripe with the match is the finish wasn't great as Hart's head got stuck between the top/middle ropes and Undertaker wouldn't stop punching him, so the ref called for the bell. They wanted to protect both guys without either taking the pin, but it did hurt the quality of the match a bit. They always had really good matches together. This one, along with SummerSlam 1997, were both above average so be sure to check them out if you want to see some examples of their work together.
