The Undertaker's 10 Greatest Hell In A Cell Moments

1. Throwing Mankind Through The Cell.

Instead of going back for the medical attention he obviously needed, Foley rolled off the stretched and headed back up to the top of the cell. The Undertaker, following Mankind's lead, joined him. The Undertaker pounded into Mankind with a few punches, a chair shot and then Chokeslammed him right through the Cell. While it's hotly contested among fans, Foley has sworn that the roof giving way was not in the original plans for the match. As he landed, the chair fell after him and hit him in the head which knocked him out for the first time in his career, dislocated his jaw, knocked out a tooth and cut a hole beneath his lip big enough to poke his tongue out. At that point, anyone would think the match was over. The Undertaker dropped down from the Cell and reinjured his broken foot. Terry Funk ran in to buy time, and was Chokeslammed out of his sneakers. If this was today, the match would have ended after the first spot, but this was The Attitude Era and the show must go on. What a lot of people forget is how long the match is, all together it's seventeen minutes long and a good chunk of it comes after the Cell bump. There's even more chair shots, Chokeslams, Tombstones and even a slam on thumb tacks before it's finally over. The Undertaker eventually won, but the match kick-started Foley's career and was one of the contributing factors towards Mankind's eventual WWF Championship win the next year.
