2. Throwing Mankind Off The Cell

In the eighteen year history of Hell in a Cell, the third ever Cell match between The Undertaker v Mankind at King of the Ring 1998 is the most famous, and possibly the most famous match of the entire Attitude Era. The entire concept was still less than a year old, so WWE was still figuring out what Hell in a Cell could be and many would argue that it peaked with this match. In his first autobiography, Have A Nice Day, Foley recounts what he said when The Undertaker asked him why he wanted to go off the top.
"I'm afraid this match gonna stink. You can't walk, and, let's face it, I don't have any heat. We've got a heck of a legacy to live up to, and I don't want this match to ruin it. If we can start it out hot enough, we can make people think we had a hell of a match, even if we didn't."
