The Undertaker's 10 Greatest Hell In A Cell Moments

7. The End Of An Era

WrestleMania XVIII saw the end of a four-year epic featuring The Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels. The previous year, Triple H challenged The Undertaker to avenge his best friend's career. While The Deadman won the fight to continue The Streak, for the first time ever he couldn't leave the arena under his own power. A year later, The Undertaker offered Triple H "another chance at immortality" because he didn't want that to be the last image of The Undertaker at WrestleMania. The match itself is what a Hell in a Cell match at WrestleMania should be. The Undertaker endured Pedigrees, Sweet Chins Music, steel chairs, steel steps but still prevailed to take his undefeated streak to 20-0. As good as the match was, it was after the match where the true magical moment occurred. After Shawn Michaels reluctantly counts the three, both Undertaker and Triple H are almost incapacitated. HBK helps Undertaker to his feet, and then both men help carry Triple H out of the ring. WWE marketed this match as "An End of an Era" and when those three men stood at the top of the ramp and hugged, it truly felt like one.
