Ups & Downs For Every AEW Roster Member

36. Private Party

Private Party
AEW

Up

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen's first match with The Young Bucks was an adrenaline-pumping banger and a huge win for Private Party, establishing them as ones to watch in the AEW tag division, despite entering the promotion as relative unknowns.

Down

Increased television exposure following the Young Bucks match shone an unwanted light on the flaws Private Party are yet to iron out of their game. That's fine, as they're a developing act, but their push was pulled back on quickly.

35. Miro

Miro AEW
AEW

Up

Finally looking like a true Bulgarian Brute in a bruising Dynamite match with Trent, offering hope beyond the restrictive 'Best Man' gimmick.

Down

The 'Best Man' gimmick. Miro is a funny, entertaining guy, and booking him purely as a bulldozer would minimise this, but he has scarcely felt this unimportant at any point in his career, even when WWE were tanking him. He seems to be having a good time with it, though.

34. Jake Hager

Jake Hager
AEW

Up

Debuting at the end of the first episode of Dynamite. Hager looked more fired-up and explosive than he had in years, putting a huge exclamation point on The Inner Circle's formation, suggesting he has about to embark upon the kind of run that'd prove WWE wrong for not believing in him.

Down

A plodding No Holds Barred match with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley or his slow, cumbersome in-ring debut opposite Dustin Rhodes at Revolution. Take your pick.

33. Kris Statlander

Kris Statlander
AEW

Up

Statlander's 17 December Dark match with Bea Priestley was the best bout of both women's AEW runs. A hard-hitting battle that showcased the 'Galaxy's Greatest Alien' as a potential future star in the women's division.

Down

A torn ACL is nothing to mess with, and it looks like Statlander will be out for a long, long time after going down in June.
