Ups & Downs For Every AEW Roster Member

44. John Silver

John Silver
AEW

Up

Silver is one of AEW's latest and greatest success stories. The past few months have seen him successfully take his humungous Being The Elite personality to television, earning him a fun Full Gear clash with Orange Cassidy. Further opportunities surely await 'The Meat Man,' who has become one of The Dark Order's standout personalities.

Down

Like partner Alex Reynolds, Silver worked hard as one of the Order's meat shields early on, though he felt faceless for a long, long time.

43. Joey Janela

Up

The greatest match in AEW Dark history was Janela's balls-out Lights Out banger with Kenny Omega. They followed up with another wild fight on Dynamite, though that plunder-filled brawl stands amongst the craziest bouts AEW has ever put together.

Down

A sloppy showing against Cody Rhodes in May strengthened the wave of criticism constantly thrown his way by certain sects of wrestling fandom.

42. Wardlow

AEW

Up

Debuting in a dramatic, story-driven steel cage match with Cody, though his all-action showings in the recent World Title Eliminator tournament run it close. Wardlow is en route to becoming a big-time star.

Down

A weird Terminator-esque vignette aired at All Out 2019 but wasn't followed up on until the big man arrived on Dynamite three months later.

41. Anna Jay

Anna Jay
AEW

Up

Finding her character's groove after joining The Dark Order and progressively growing into her role, despite her inexperience. Jay's 22 September match with Brandi Rhodes was also a solid triumph that was far stronger than anyone could have reasonably expected.

Down

The Rhodes feud wasn't truly blown off, with the rivalry drifting into nothing following Anna and Tay Conti's tangles with the Chief Brand Officer and Red Velvet. Perhaps it'll be picked back up again.
