Vince McMahon HATED Pat McAfee's WWE SmackDown Impersonation

WWE boss McMahon wasn't keen on Pat McAfee impressions of him on SmackDown.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Vince McMahon pulled Pat McAfee's bombastic impression skit from last week's 'Throwback' episode of SmackDown because he wasn't a fan.

McMahon reportedly felt that McAfee didn't look or sound like his younger self in the promo. Dave Meltzer claims his sources said Vince found the whole thing "comical in the wrong way", and thought it was "a parody of a parody".

Originally, reports suggested that Pat's impersonation was hauled off SmackDown due to a last-minute change of plans. There may still be some truth to that, but it appears the real story is that McMahon just plain didn't like what he was seeing.

McAfee sported a comedic wig, wore a jacket patterned after Vince's old commentary look and put on his best McMahon voice. WWE didn't air the bit, but Pat did get to share it around on Twitter after the fact. It's still up there somewhere if you haven't had the pleasure.

It's unclear whether or not McMahon was offended by McAfee's impression. Meltzer didn't go into details about that - he only said that Vince didn't think it was funny.
