7. What If Hulk Hogan Would Have Never Joined The nWo?

I can remember watching this play out live while I was at Bruce Prichard€™s house. When the Hogan turn came€”I knew that we, the WWE, were absolutely DEAD in the water. At that time WCW was everything cool about professional wrestling, and I give the majority of that credit to Eric Bischoff, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. When the €œOutsiders€ made their jump to WCW, the !@#$% was on!!! Now, of course, it didn€™t help that the WWE was writing their WORST TV at the time, but nonetheless the combination of those two factors put the WWE in a very compromising situation. When Hogan turned? That was the final nail in the coffin for me. That gave WCW everything that it needed to finally slay the dragon€”the WWE. Had Hulk Hogan not joined the nWo? In my opinion, no disrespect to Scott and Kevin, but the nWo just wouldn€™t have nearly had the impact it did. Remember up until that point Hulk had been a babyface his ENTIRE CAREER, this heel turned was DECADES in the making. Nothing else WCW could have done at the time would have provided that type of Impact.
